MAzinaw Lake:
Fishing, Boating & Water Sports
Mazinaw Lake has a depth of up to 476 feet with a perimeter of 30 miles, divided into North Mazinaw and South Mazinaw. North Mazinaw is the larger section of the lake. Mazinaw Lake is home to many different kinds of fish: lake trout, walleye, bass, musky, whitefish, and pike. It is not uncommon to spot ducks, loons, otters, turtles and a whole host of other wildlife! Mazinaw Lake is routinely rated one of the cleanest lakes in Ontario by Conservation Ontario. South Mazinaw offers boat in access to Bon Echo Provincial Park. The Great Mazinaw Rock juts up out of Mazinaw Lake over 100 feet high, it features an Ode to Walk Whitman, and several ancient native pictographs.
